The climate of Zakynthos is Mediterranean, with hot and sunny summers and a beautiful sea temperature all year round. The Spring months of March, April and May are a perfect time to visit the island, with significantly fewer rainy days than the UK and a lovely temperature. The Summer months of June until mid September are sunny and hot, but Villa Tal Hamsa, due to its elevation, is never far away from a gentle sea breeze. During the Autumn and Winter (October to February) Zakynthos can be relatively wet, but significantly less so than the UK and the likes of the Shipwreck Beach and Blue Caves are wonderful to visit in October and November when the tourists are few and far between.
